      EASY TO USE, I PUT AN ON/OFF SHUTOFF DEVICE ON THE HOSE BEFORE IT, SO I CAN CONTROL THE PRESSUE OF THE MIST AS WATER PRESSURE VARIES. IT MAY BE A GOOD IDEA TO PUT A WATER CONTROL VALVE ON THE MISTY MATE ITSELF.

            Thought maybe we would put these on the outside banisters have not installed them yet but since we also purchased 2 32 feet long misty system and 1 for the patio umbrella (come on it has been in the 90 for about a month straight) these may end up being returned since all these misty systems may be overkill

                I didn't use this product for its typical use but placed it under my birdfeeder to keep the cats from stalking the birds. Since most cats have an aversion to any amount of water getting on them, they totally stayed away from the feeder. I bought two misters and used the other one to put in my bed of ferns. Those plants thrived during a terribly hot, dry Texas summer thanks to the mister. I barely had to turn the water faucet on to get a good mist, so I used very little water. Of course, I turned them off during the evening hours. The Misty Mate is well worth the money, and with such excellent construction, should last for years to come.
