Comments about Milestone All About Me Squiggles Stepping Stone Kit:

I bought 6 stepping stone kits at once and made them all in one afternoon. I think by the time I got to the 3rd stone, I had a rhythm going. :) I made them one at a time mixing in a bucket ( I used a bit more water than the directions); then pouring in the mold, patting it in, and then decorating and letting it dry. They pop out of the molds really nice. The edges will be rough. I smoothed mine with a brick (it says to use a chisel) by rubbing the edges with it.

The kit is "slightly" messy. I wore plastic gloves because the mix will irritate and dry skin. Some of the stones provided are broken. So, I also bought some marbles and other items to stick into these as well.

NOTE: It's best to have a design plan "before" you mix your cement. Or lay out the pieces in the pattern you are doing to the side. Because once you pour it in the mold, you don't have a lot of time.

It makes one very nice 11"x11" stepping stone. I let mine dry outside for 6 hrs. Then I took them inside and put on a towel and let dry really good for 2 weeks before putting them outdoors. They look really cute in the garden, and you can walk on them. They have not cracked.

I love these kits! So much easier than going to a home improvement store and buying cement, etc.
