Comments about Metal Twin Canopy Bed with Curtains - Pewter:

My daughter loves this bed. It is nice because it doesn't require a box spring or a separate bed frame. However, the mattress support is made of wooden slats that bow upwards and easily break if children jump on it (which they should not). Even though my supports broke, I am still able to use it with a box spring. I am very happy with the look of the bed although I ordered pewter thinking it would be silver, but it looks more beige. Can be used with or without the curtains. Pretty to look at, but not real heavy duty.
