I used this product for the single right hand glove in an Ezio Auditore costume from Assassin's Creed. I was expecting a dark brown glove as indicated by the picture. The gloves were jet black. I spent 3 YEARS making this costume as perfectly accurate to the game as possible, and these gloves were a huge disappointment. As I had no time to return them and find another option, I had to strip the color out with acetone, re-dye them, and I had to rip the seam and reattach the forearm portion so that it folded back towards the hand the way it does on the character in the game.

My husband said the one glove he wore helped keep his hand warm at the Renaissance Faire he was wearing it at (the cape kept the other side covered and warm). The leather over the hand is nice and soft, though the stiffness of the upper portion was frustrating to work with. However, once I resewed it and folded it over, it held the shape I wanted perfectly.

My non recommendation is only if someone is expecting a brown glove that can be folded back towards the hand.
