Meijer Spirals and Cheese Dinner - 1 Box (5.50 oz)
1 Box = 5.5 oz (155 g); Spirals and Cheese Dinner. Full of great cheesy flavor. Microwaveable. Quality Assured.

  • 1 Box of 5.5 oz (155 g)
  • Ingredients: Enriched Macaroni: Enriched Durum Semolina and Enriched Wheat Flour (Durum Semolina, Wheat Flour, Niacin, Ferrous Sulfate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid). Sauce Mix: Whey Enriched Wheat Flour Bleached (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Cheddar Cheese (Pasteurized Milk, Cheese Cultures, Salt, Enzymes), Salt, Food Starch-Modified, Disodium Phosphate, Yellow 5, Yellow 6.
  • Preparation instructions: Range Top: 1. Add macaroni and 1 tsp of salt, if desired, to 6 cups boiling water. 2. Boil rapidly, stirring occasionally, 7 to 10 minutes or until tender but not firm. Do not rinse. Return shells to pan. 3. Add 3 tbsp margarine (or butter), 3 tbsp milk and contents of cheese packet. Mix thoroughly. Makes about 2 cups. Microwave: 1. Microwave 3 cups water in covered 2-quart microwaveable casserole dish on High 8 to 10 minutes or until boiling. 2. Add shells and 1 tsp salt, if desired. Stir. 3. Microwave, uncovered 8 to 9 minutes or to desired tenderness, stirring after 4 minutes. Drain. Do not rinse. Return macaroni to casserole. 4. Add 3 tbsp margarine (or butter), 3 tbsp milk and contents of cheese packet. Mix thoroughly. Makes about 2 cups.

                    I use this product as a side dish as well as a main dish with some cut up hot dogs thrown in. feed a small army for $4 with 3 boxes of mac, 1 pound franks, and a nice salad.

                      Our teens love this Macaroni & Cheese better than the national brand. We add our own ingredients to customize a dinner. Bacon, chopped tomatoes with green chilis, and ham are a few beginning ideas. Try one and then ask the family for suggestions. They'll enjoy seeing their ideas made into a meal and you'll enjoy all the excitement you create on a strict budget!
