Meijer Ferrous Sulfate 325Mg Tablets - 125 Count
Ferrous Sulfate - Tablets. Iron supplement therapy. Small, specially coated tablet for improved palatability. This provides the body with ferrous sulfate. Recommended for iron deficiency when the need the iron supplementation has been determined by a health professional. Formula: Each tablet contains 200 mg of dried ferrous sulfate USP (65mg of elemental iron). Equivalent to 325 mg of ferrous sulfate USP. (This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.)

  • Adults - 1 tablet daily as a dietary supplement or as directed by a physician. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Store at controlled room temperature (59-86°F).

Contains soy. Since oral iron products interfere with absorption of oral tetracycline antibiotics, these products should not be taken within two hours of each other. Occasional gastrointestinal discomfort (such as nausea) may be minimized by taking with meals. Iron products may occasionally cause constipation or diarrhea. If you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately. Do not use if printed seal under cap is broken or missing.

    The Doctor recommended that I take an iron supplment. I tried others that cost more but they upset my stomach. These are just gentle. I have felt a great deal better after starting to take iron daily.
