Meijer Clear Plastic Food Wrap is tough enough to be stretched tightly over bowls and plates without splitting. It has excellent cling to give a tight seal and helps keep food fresh. This wrap conforms to FDA standards for use and contact with foods. This wrap is useful for reheating food in the microwave (2 minutes or less depending on food type). The wrap should never be placed in direct contact with food. Certain foods with high fat or sugar content can become quite hot in a microwave. We recommend this wrap be used as a cover with a large container that is microwave safe so as to allow at least 1" or more space between wrap and the food. Always peel back one corner or punch hole to vent steam. Plastic wrap is microwavable. Quality assured.
