Meijer Angel Hair Pasta - 1 Box (16 oz)
1 Box = 16 oz (1 lb) 454 g; Enriched Spaghetti Product - Angel Hair. 100% Durum semolina. Quality assured. Made in the USA.

  • 1 Box of 16 oz (1 lb) 454 g
  • Kosher
  • Ingredients: Durum Semolina, Niacin, Ferrous Sulfate (Iron), Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid.
  • Approximate cooking time: 3-4 minutes. Cook al dente (firm to the bite) for full flavor. Cooking guidelines: 1 lb pasta serves 6-8. Boil water (4 qt per 1 lb pasta). Add salt to taste. Add pasta. Wait for reboil. Stir frequently. Cook until al dente, approximately 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and drain.

      Aside from the super healthy pastas, I do not find much of a taste difference in the dried pastas. The Meijer brand cooks up well and is a good value. We stock up when it goes on sale. My 10 mo. son loves the Angel Hair w/ spaghetti sauce as lunch or dinner. It's not as bulky as the Thin Spaghetti and other thicker pastas.

        Angel Hair is my favorite pasta shape, and it's often very expensive. This batch was a great value! It cooks in a few minutes, and tastes great with any kind of sauce. We like garlic & olive oil, marinara, fresh cut tomatoes & basil, spicy peanut sauce with scallions, and even simple butter & Parmesan cheese. The only thing to make sure is your sauce is ready before you cook the pasta because it's done before you know it!
