I purchased this walker for my father at Christmas. He is 81 years old and has spinal stinosis. Because of his age and how bad the stinosis is, he has opted not to have surgery, so he now lives in pain everyday. He had been getting around with a cain very slowly, and long distances were nearly impossible. BUT with this walker he is now able to get around so much better and safer. He leaves it in his car and uses it on his outings. I wasn't sure how he would feel about having a walker, but he is so thankful for it. So far this walker has held up nicely and it went together very easily. I looked online and Meijers had it cheaper then anywhere else. I'm thinking about buying him another one and letting him keep one at his house too. My father weighs just over 200 lbs. and he can easily sit down on the seat and rest if needed.
