I used two entire bottles of this food coloring to make a batch of red velvet cupcakes. The color was a nice, rich red. The only con: I used so much of the product is that my cupcakes had a very slight food coloring aftertaste. (I didn't know what that meant before, either!) It wasn't exactly bad, it was just a little unexpected. I'm sure that for most uses, you'll use much less food coloring and that there won't be any noticeable taste.
