This dollhouse is super cool and it seems pretty sturdy. It took some time to put together and the directions aren't that helpful, but it really wasn't that difficult. I thought I'd ask my husband to put it together, but I did it myself in under an hour with very little frustration, once I got all the pieces separated. I am very disappointed with the quality of the furniture that comes with the house. Many of the pieces, such as the refrigerator and dresser just look like hunks of wood with some paint on them. Yes, you can open the refrigerator, but you open it up to a block of wood, no openings to put anything inside it, the washer is the same. Also, the female doll lost a foot within 15 minutes of gentle play. This was quite upsetting for my daughter. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. I'd recommend trying to find the house without the furniture, and buy the furniture sets from a different company, perhaps [...]
