      This was the "one" item that my 3 yr old asked santa for...I was a little hesitant because I had heard they could be messy, but this has turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for....it isn't messy or at least yet since it is winter. We use mini marshmellows and they shoot pretty far.

          I got this for my nephew for christmas of 08. He had a blast with it. The only major problem was the marshmallows were not hard enough, so they got stuck pretty quickly.
