We are able to use this shelf for our large flat panel tv. The shelves in the center were enough space for a cable box and three game systems. The shelves inside the doors provide hidden storage for all of our games, controllers, and accessories. The shelf looks great in our basement rec room, and I'm happy with my purchase overall.

The wood was mainly partical board, but seems sturdy enough. It is a fairly complicated assembly, but the instructions are pretty clear, so a patient person shouldn't have any trouble (although a helper is a good idea). One of the doors magnets seems weak, so if you slam it, it bounces back open. When left alone, it stays closed, so its no big deal.

This is not top of the line designer furniture, but for the price, its attractive, useful, and compact. Great for storing lots of components in a small space.

It is very functional because we can use it for a TV stand and to hold all our DVD's plus the cable box and DVD player. The quality is pretty nice for the price too.
