I have a big driveway and needed something to get the job done in less time. The Manplow does it. Glides across the pavement with no scraping sound like my shovel. I got the 36" plow, but probably should have gotten the 30" so I could also use it on my walks. Perfect for use when there isn't enough snow to get out the snow-thrower.

First use was in snowfall of 1-2 " with a heavy wet snow. Worked great! You just have to figure out how much of a length of run you can manage to push at one time. My driveway is over 2000 sq ft. Normally it would take at least 1 1/2 hours to clear with a regular snow shovel. The manplow cut it down to 20 mins! Clearing out sections at a time. But it was difficult to push thru more snow once the snow accumlated to the top of the blade. Still, once I figured out how much I can push at one time, it went real fast, also cleared right down to the asphalt.
Perfect for amounts too small for the blower.

First of all, this thing does work. The claims the manufacturer makes are true; however, using it on gravel is tricky. If your gravel driveway is very even without ruts or undulations, it will probably work really well. My driveway is not perfectly even, so I have to tilt the edge up a little to clear most of the snow, and back drag to get the little bit I left behind. Having said that, this thing does make clearing your drive WAY quicker than using a shovel. It is well made and sturdy. It's a lot of money (I think) for a snow pusher, but it is well made, it does work, and I am happy with it.

My Manplow came just in time for two weeks of the deepest snow storms in history here in NW Arkansas. I live at the bottom of a steep cul-de-sac with an even steeper driveway. I had to plow the driveway and the street about 50 yards to get out to work each day. Never would have happened without the Manplow.

I needed to replace an old curved plow (the welds finally failed). I first purchased one of those ergonomic (bent handle) heavy plastic shovels. That shovel is fine for SHOVELING, but the ManPlow is the absolute best for snow PUSHING. The twin handle design gives you firm control. The rubber edge is like a squeegee in that leaves a very smooth clean surface.

As if Divine Intervention had played a role in my purchase of my Manplow I ordered on-line about 4 weeks before the fourth biggest snowstorm in Chicago history hit us. I have a 50 foot by 10 foot wide driveway with neighbors on each side. In the beginning of the storm I Manplowed the driveway, my sidewalk ( and my neighbor's sidewalk) by pushing the snow to the various grassy areas. Went to sleep after keeping up with approximately 8 to 10 inches of snow that had fallen to that point. In the morning an additional 10 to 12 inches had fallen...now what? The previous 10 inches prevented me from just pushing it onto the now snow filled grassy areas. I picked the area with the least amount of snow, got my adult son to Manplow the driveway snow to that spot where I was stationed with a sturdy shovel to shovel the snow as high as it would go. This process worked like a charm. We were done in no time flat. My son exclaimed that this was the best tool I had ever bought. I feel the same way. Strong, durable and simple. Love it!
