1 Box = 5 oz; Matzo Ball Mix. Quality since 1888. Kosher for Passover all year around. Matzo balls are a delicious treat that taste great in chicken soup or as a side dish. Enjoy all of our matzo ball and soup products throughout the year. This carton contains 2 packets. Each packet makes 9 to 12 matzo balls. This product is lactose free and vegetarian.

  • 12 Boxes of 5 oz
  • Kosher
  • Ingredients: Matzo Meal (Passover Wheat Flour and Water), Salt, Monocalcium Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Onion, Pepper, Garlic, Celery Seed.
  • You Will Need: Small bowl, 2 eggs, 2 tbls vegetable oil, 2-1/2qts cold water, 4qt pot. 1. Mix: In a small bowl, blend 2 eggs and 2 tbls of vegetable oil. Add contents of 1 packet and stir with fork until evenly mixed. Place bowl in refrigerator for 15 minutes. In a 4qt pot, bring to a boil 2-1/2qts water and 2 tsps salt if desired. Wet hands and form batter into balls approximately 1" in a diameter. 2. Boil: Drop into boiling water, cover tightly, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes.

There is no other brand of matzo ball mix that is worth anything. And trying to make Matzo balls from scratch without the Manachevitz mix is a tough proposition. Was happy to be able to purchase a case of it from your site and not have to constantly worry about whether I could find it in my island market
on San Juan Island off the coast of Washington. Gotta say, it's heaven in a box.
