Comments about Mali Flex Combo Futon - Snow Leopard:

My husband and I decided to put the frame together before packing the van and heading to take my daughter to college. Assembly was pretty easy once we sorted out which leg went where and used a real wrench instead of the one provided. Our dilemma came when we couldn't get the arms to fold out flat. We knew it should work like a lounge chair, (fold it all the way in, then back out to the angle we wanted) but couldn't get it to work. We both began examining the mechanism, looking for hidden buttons, etc. Then checked online for reviews or answers. There was nothing. Then my husband took the wrench that was included and pushed it gently into the space between the gears. Presto! Some of the exterior paint had dried on them, preventing them from moving as they were supposed to do. The futon fits nicely under a lofted bed with room to spare and looks good although the color is darker than pictured. Cushion and pillows seemed comfortable.
