      While I thought this was a fun project to do with my 6 year old son, this go-cart should come with a "WARNING". My son could not slow down and hit the brick wall around our garage opening. The brake system is totally useless and can not slow the cart down at all. Also if you get going with a little bit of speed the steering is flat out dangerous. Way to sensitive and hard to control.

      This is a very dangerous go cart and I feel fortunate my son was not seriously hurt using it.

        My son and I are just getting starting putting our go cart together and we are having a blast. We will let you know how it turns out when we are finished and it finally stops snowing so we can test it!
