            I attached this basket to my old schwinn cruiser and the mounting snapped in half (without being over-tightened). I brought it back to Meijer the next day and they exchanged it without a problem. I've been using it to carry a water bottle and my purse regularly for a month. Holes were breaking open on the sides and finally the top wire broke next to the mounting and it is gradually breaking further. It was a complete waste of [$].

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
