Comments about M-Wave 8-LED Bicycle Headlight:

the actual light is smaller than the ad. this seems to be good. light is bright enough that you can't look at it. fixed beam is good for low speed riding. failure point for me has always been attaching hardware - so far, so good. maybe this will last until an adjustable beam led light comes out <$20.

Comments about M-Wave 8-LED Bicycle Headlight:

Compact and bright enough for commuting even with hills. Good thing, as you can't avoid riding up and down hills in San Francisco. Haven't used it on trails, but it's fine on the road. Great light for flat rides and non-technical descents under 40 mph without switchbacks. Any bar-mounted light would have challenges on those. Add a helmet mounted light for twisty descents to see into turn entries before you're in them. Also have very expensive, very heavy but very bright light systems. Prefer the M-Wave 8 LED light for riding in town including areas without street lights. Gave it 5-stars since it does exactly what I bought it for, plus it's a very cost effective option.
