Comments about M-Wave 5-LED Bike Headlight:

The light ships with Mercury/Cadmium/Plombum batteries. Instructions, recharging cable, straps, and mounts are ALL for a different model headlight. The special "charger" for Mercury Cadmium batteries is supposed to be included as per the instructions, but none is there. If you try to recharge these batteries on a NiMH or NiCd battery charger you risk them literally blowing up, causing damage to you, and ruining your charger. I can not find the Mercury Cadmium charger online in a cursory google search.

Mercury is a heavy metal that is illegal to throw away in some places.

So you can either invest in some more batteries that DO WORK on normal chargers ($15 to $20) or buy another light.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
