Comments about London 3-Tier Coffee Table - Espresso:

So I bought this coffee table because it has an edgy 60s lounge feel to it. Obviously, the wife had to approve as well. For the price, I was excited...until I got the item. It actually came damaged on the top. The bag of fastening screws was open and scattered throughout the box and rubbed a wear mark in transit. I wouldn't have minded the damage but the only part to receive the damage was the top piece; GO FIGURE! That being said, I didn't call to return the item and here's why: I HATE the color! We are going to refinish in a more dark espresso. Since refinishing requires sanding, that also handles the wear mark on the top piece.
One thing to definitely look out for is the pre-drilled holes not lining up. I tried every combination of switching the legs around with no success. Not only did they not line up with this coffee table but also a matching end table (which was well worse). My solution for the holes not lining up was to use dowel pins with wood glue.
That being said, after all is said and done, it was way more work than needed. Put extra cash into something of better quality.
