I found other reviews helpful in making my decision to purchase this or not. I bought this for my 27 months old, who is a huge Thomas fan. He was so excited just seeing us pulling the parts out from the box. Like other reviewers mentioned, it took a while to assemble the bed because some parts don't quite fit. It took some forces and hammering to put together. However, the bed is stable and durable. The service maybe a little rough (but it's made of plastic, you can't really expect really high quality like wood). He is now sleeping in his bed everyday vs. sleeping with us in our bed. Takes some training but I feel that our decision was a good one.

My son loves his big boy Thomas bed. He's had a regular big boy bed for almost a year but wouldn't sleep in it. This was the perfect motivation to get his 'permission' to say bye bye to the crib for good. Low to the ground, easy for him to get in and out of. Comfy, cute and the perfect piece for his already Thomasized bedroom.I paid almost $100 less buying from Meijer than I would have from [...] - Meijer puts an end to that old saying 'if it's too good to be true...' Thanks Meijer!
