The Little Giant Alta-One is one of the lightest multi-use ladders on the market. The Alta-One is the ultimate in strength, safety, and versatility. The hinge locks and telescoping sides let you safely use the Little Giant Alta-One as an adjustable extension ladder, A-frame ladder, staircase ladder, and as trestle-and-plank scaffolding system.

Wide-flared legs, rubberized feet, and high-quality construction give you unmatched stability in any of its unique configurations. Because it is constructed of aerospace-grade aluminum, the Alta-One is ultra-light and ultra-strong. The Alta-One is rated to hold up to 250 lbs on both sides, so it's perfect for medium-sized jobs.     Love this little ladder. However, it is a bit heavier than I would like. I guess the better made and sturdier the ladder, the heavier it is! Still love it!

      I use the ladder for painting exterior of house and occaisionally as a scaffold. Also need the ladder for picking fruit in the summer. Because it is more stable than a step ladder it is safer to use.

      Great for projects around the house. Not so large as to be awkward yet flexible enough for almost any need. Folds up very compactly for storage yet will still support 250# to get the job done. All latches, hinges, etc. are heavy duty so should be durable.
