LifeSmart Stealth 6 Infrared Quartz Heater
This LifeSmart heater utilizes the latest in infrared technology to provide safe, even heat distribution into any room of your home without reducing the air's humidity or oxygen. The Stealth 6 series infrared heater features 6 enclosed, commercial grade infrared quartz elements. The elements provide floor to ceiling heat for an open room space of up to 1,500 sq ft.

Heat the room you spend the most time in comfortably and economically as the thermostatically controlled heat circulates and mixes air flow, causing warmth to travel evenly throughout. A fireproof heat exchanger confines the infrared heating elements. This allows the exterior cabinet to be cool to the touch so localized heat cannot burn or harm small children, pets, or furniture. Touch button controls or the convenient remote control operate dual heat settings, timer, and temperature. Caster wheels provide portability from room to room.

        Using a Kill-A-Watt Meter based upon $0.0745 using this 24 hours will cost $2.42 per day.
        I have two which are being used in the main part of a single story 1568 Sq Ft house with basement. Closing doors to unused areas leaving about 900 sw ft. It takes 2 heaters 20 minutes to go from 65* to 69* with an outside temp of 25* but it doesn't want to take it to 70* With outside temps of a low of 25* to a high of 45* I only use the furnance every day or two to warm up the whole house. Far cheaper than propane.

          We use these units as a heat source. We have not had to turn on the furnace or start up the fireplace yet with these running. And we have a 3000 sq. ft. home to heat!

            We use it to supplement our main furnace and it does a good job of keeping the furnace off more than on for now, but we'll see how much of a difference it makes once the temps really start dropping. Able to keep the furnace at 60 and heat the rooms we're in to stay comfortable.

              Love the heater. But, my toddler wants to press the buttons all the time. If there was a way to lock the buttons, and turn off the beep for the buttons, that would make it perfect.
