- Ingredients: Enriched Macaroni Product (Durum Wheat Flour, Wheat Flour, Niacin, Ferrous Sulfate [Iron], Thiamin Mononitrate [Vitamin B1], Riboflavin [Vitamin B2], Folic Acid); Cheese Sauce Mix (Whey, Modified Food Starch, Milkfat, Salt, Milk Protein Concentrate, Contains Less than 2% of Sodium Tripolyphosphate, Cellulose Gel, Cellulose Gum, Citric Acid. Sodium Phosphate, Lactic Acid, Calcium Phosphate, Milk, Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Enzymes, Cheese Culture).
- Suggested prep: you will need 6 cups water, 4 tbsp spread, 1/4 cup milk. Cooking: 1) Boil 6 cups water. Stir in macaroni. Boil 8 to 10 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. 2) Drain. Do not rinse. Return to pan. 3) Add 4 tbsp. spread, 1/4 cup milk and cheese sauce mix; mix well.
- Light prep (65% less fat and 20% fewer calories than suggested preparation): Prepare as directed using 2 tsp. unsalted butter and 1/4 cup fat free milk.
- Microwave prep: You will need 2 quart microwaveable bowl, 1 3/4 cups hot water, 4 tablespoons spread, 1/4 cup milk. Pour macaroni into 2 quart microwavable bowl. Add 1 3/4 cups hot water. Microwave, uncovered, on High 11 to 12 minutes or until water is absorbed, stirring after 6 minutes. Add 4 tbsp. spread, 1/4 cup milk and cheese sauce mix; mix well. Cheese sauce will thicken upon standing. Bowl will be hot. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate.
