- Prep: 20 min. Makes about 4 servings 1 cup each. What You Need: 2 tbsp unsalted butter, 1/2 cup 2% milk. 1. Boil 6 cups water. Stir in macaroni. Cook 7 to 8 min. or until tender stirring occasionally. Drain. (Do not rinse). Set aside. 2. Melt butter in same pan on Medium heat. Stir in seasoning mix until well blended. Gradually stir in milk; cook and stir until sauce bubbles and thickens. 3. Stir in contents of Cheese Sauce pouch. Cook and stir on Low heat until blended. 4. Add macaroni to cheese sauce; stir to heat through. Sprinkle with Bread Crumb Topping. (Note: For oven finish, wait to add bread crumb topping). Optional Oven Finish: Pour macaroni and cheese into 1-1/2 qt casserole. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese and Bread Crumb Topping. Bake at 425°F for 5 to 10 min. or until cheddar is melted.
