  • 1 Box of 14 oz (397 g)
  • Ingredients: Enriched Macaroni Product [Wheat Flour, Niacin, Ferrous Sulfate (Iron), Thiamin Mononitrate (Vitamin B1), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Folic Acid], Cheese Sauce [Milk, Whey, Water, Canola Oil, Milk Protein Concentrate, Salt, Sodium Phosphate, Contains Less Than 2% of Whey Protein Concentrate, Sodium Alginate, Sorbic Acid as a Preservative, Lactic Acid, Milk fat, Oleoresin Paprika (Color), Annatto (Color), Natural Flavor, Cheese Culture, Enzymes].
  • Directions: 1. Boil 8 cups water. Stir in macaroni. Cook 10 to 12 min or to desired tenderness, stirring occasionally. Drain. Do not rinse. Return to pan. 2. Tear open cheese sauce pouch. Squeeze cheese sauce over hot macaroni. 3. Stir until well blended. Makes 4 servings. Note: Do not overcook pasta.

Kraft Deluxe Macaroni and Cheese Dinner is my favorite brand--"The Blue Box." This product has a creamy cheese packet that tastes great. It beats the powdered cheese products found in other dinners in every respect. With that said, even with the 2% milk formula, it is still very high in fat and sodium. So go ahead and enjoy this macaroni and cheese on an occasional basis--not every day.

Along with regular exercise and an otherwise healthy diet, splurging on macaroni and cheese once in while is OK.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
