      This is my son's 3rd K'NEX set (all of which, at this point, are from the thrill/amusement ride collection), and easily the most impressive so far. The set is targeted at kids age 9 and up, and although my son is 6, the more complex construction (compared to his previous 2) has definitely helped push him out of his comfort zone and analyze the diagrams a bit more carefully. Overall, a great addition to our growing collection. We discovered K'NEX just recently, and are absolutely impressed with the quality of the product line.

        My 4.5, 6.5, and 8 year old all enjoyed this set. It includes tons of pieces PLUS a motor. Build the Sawblade ride OR use the plethora of pieces to make something else! Great value!! Helps develop fine motor skills (some large & some mirco parts). Also helps children to follow directions. The ride WILL stay together & operate nicely as long as you follow directions to the letter. Even when a couple of pieces broke, the folks at K'nex were great about getting us new ones for FREE. I just absolutely LOVE K'nex & Legos -- either toy is just a great building toy for kids. You can't go wrong with this set.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
