i only use it for meat products. sometimes the meat sticks & it has to be disassembled to cleans & then put back but it's a minor setback.

Used for 6 months. PRO: Useful when out of store bought ground meats. PRO: Gives a good grind texture that cannot be done by my food processor. PRO: 2 handy size grind sizes but wish it had one even larger. Handwash metal parts only. CON:a little difficult catching food as it comes out of the grinder. I use a wide bowl sometimes a cookie tray. You should store the parts together back in the original box or something. I use a cloth bag for my mixer attachments. Requires practice to find out what shapes and sizes of food to use.There is a additional attachment tray you can buy that catches the food as it squirts out of the grinder but I have not tried it.

We use this to grind venison into hamburger, to grind cranberries, apples and oranges for relish, to grind pickles for pickle relish, which I can in the summer. I can't think of any food I couldn't grind with this.

I use this all the time when canning. I just made salsa and relish. Has saved me alot of time. It has to grinding wheels one for fine and one for course. I use the course. I just love it!

The powerful motor is a pro and a con. You have to regulate the amount of material you are grinding or it tends to get stuck and smell like it will overheat.

We use it mostly to make ground venison and use it to make jerky out of the ground meat too. It is fine for that...may be a bit slow if doing a large deer and making a lot of burger out of the meat.
