The KitchenAid Classic Series Stand Mixer delivers the power and durability to mix heavy batches. Tilt-head design allows clear access to the beater and bowl. The 10-speed slide control ranges from a very fast whip to a very slow stir while the C dough hook kneads yeast dough for bread and pizza recipes. All metal construction with brushed stainless steel bowl. Comes with flat beater, C dough hook, 4-1/2 qt brushed stainless steel bowl and wire whip. Cut and mix, then repeat.

    The best kitchen "small appliance" investment I've ever made. I've owned my mixer for years and would buy it again in a heartbeat. It so powerful that it whips meringue within minutes. A hand mixer used to take me 10 times longer! If you make cookies, cakes, icings, etc. it's a "must have" for "hands free" operation. Just turn it on and it mixes while you work on other aspects of the recipe. I have attachments that grate carrots for carrot cake, slices veggies for canning and salads. It is so well made, it will last for many years if not a lifetime.

          I use my KitchenAid mixer for all my mixing needs. It is easy to use and the clean up is quite easy, too! I love how nice it looks and I leave it out on the counter top all the time. I've had friends ask me how I like it and I always reply, "It's great, I really like it!"

                            Yes, it's heavy... but worth its weight in gold. It sits proudly on my counter and is used more often than I thought it would be (in fact, I don't own a hand mixer because my stand mixer takes care of all my mixing needs). I've had it for a long time and it works/sounds like new - built to last. Can't describe enough how it's worth the investment.
