I bought this set about one month ago.
My two 7 year olds and 4 year old have used it. They love it! It is sturdy and a great size for all three of them to eat, draw and play at. It says that you should weatherproof it. I guess we'll see after the end of the season what it looks like. We have had a number of torrential rains and generally a wet spring. It still looks good.

Wood breaks off and cracks under the weight of an average sized 3 year old. Only used as snack and lunch table for about 2-weeks b4 it started falling apart.

I purchased this table set as a Christmas gift for my niece and two nephews. Well Christmas was only two-weeks ago and the chairs are cracking and breaking to the weight of three, four, and 5 year old tots that are small for their ages. Not to mention this is indoor use as a snack timetable. I am extremely upset.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
