        This a great playhouse. Lots for fun stuff for my toddler to do. However, several things were wrong with it.

        We were missing a major part (a wood piece) right out of the box. We had to drill several new holes because the holes did not match up with other holes. One of the threaded holes (with metal insert) was dented and the screw would not go in, so we had to completely strip the threading to get it to work. In short - get ready for some hassles with installation!

        Now that we have setup finished, we noticed that the doorbell is defective.

        One note on design. The door handle is a little strange. Not the easiest thing for my almost 3 year old to figure out.

        I would like to note that we worked with Kidkraft customer service twice and they were very helpful and friendly.

          My son loves this house! We decided to put this in the our house as it is rainy season in Florida and it wouldn't have gotten much use outside. It looks so cute and well worth the 3 hours it took my husband and his brother to put together. We would but this again and would recommend this to anyone.

            We bought this for our daughter after seeing one at a friend's house. Very easy to assemble. Time consuming but instructions were very clear and parts were well labeled. [...]. My 2-year old LOVES it! Not as sturdy looking as i wouldve hoped but it seems good enough for a small child and should hold up well if taken care of. we Couldn't find anything of similar quality in this price range (the only thing close was hundreds of dollars more).Meijer [...] had the best price we could find.

              My children received this as a gift, and my husband assembled it in the garage (it was helpful to assemble on a flat, level surface). Assembly was not difficult, but somewhat involved (you are building a small house after all). Oh, but the work is worth it! This house is awesome and adorable. My kids love it. My husband built a deck/floor and that made a huge improvement on keeping it clean, dry and somewhat bug free (we live in the woods, so there are always bugs). If you take your time and assemble this well it will last for years and years. It also provides some nice winter storage for outdoor toys.
