Tried for special needs and didn't work

Got this after much online research for my son who has Down syndrome. Liked the clip features to help him keep his feet on pedals but they fall off. Liked the lap belt to keep him in the seat but it comes undone. Liked the push bar but when he doesn't steer straight, it won't go in the direction I push in. Overall not usable for my son. He's also too big to fit in it - his legs hit the handlebars. Would be OK for a smaller child, around 2, one who knows how to pedal and steer, but overall much flimsier than what I thought Kettler was. Must be a low end model. Suggest seeing them in person and not buying on line. Though price at Meier was great. [...]. Nice accessories like bell and basket.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We didn't like that the back wheels swiveled. It made it hard to control for me. Also the lock on the back wheels wouldn't lock, so while my son was riding independently the back wheels were all over the place. We returned it...I will say that it was easy to put together, great directions and I also had no problems taking it apart. :)

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
