Kershaw Knives 1735T Zing Knife with Tanto Blade
In 2009, Kershaw introduced the Zing folder. This knife made use of computerized 3D machining equipment to create a unique striation pattern below the grind line of the blade. This version of the Zing does not have the grooves, instead it has a Tanto shaped blade available with either plain edge or combo edge.
The 3" blade of Sandvik 14C28N high carbon cutlery stainless at 58-60 Rc. An extension of the ricasso serves as a finger guard when the blade is open. The handle is injection molded polyamide over a 420 stainless steel locking liner. Includes a removable/reversible pocket clip, which can be positioned for tip up or tip down carry. Measures 3-7/8" closed and weighs 3.1 oz.
