Care instructions: Before using, wash in hot soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. For baked on food, allow pan to cool and then soak in warm soapy water for a short period of time. Use only cloth material or nylon cleaning pads with non-abrasive cleansers. Do not use scouring pad that will scratch the surface or abrasive cleansers.
All stoneware products are breakable. Do not use on stovetop or any other direct heat source such as a broiler, grill, toaster oven, or direct flame. Avoid sudden temperature changes. Do not add cold liquid to a hot pan. Always allow stoneware to cool to room temperature prior to adding liquid or cleaning. Do not place hot stoneware on a cold surface as this could cause breakage. Always use a trivet or hot pad to protect countertop and tabletop surfaces.
For freezer to oven, always place the pan in a cold oven, turn the oven to desired temperature and let the stoneware and oven heat up together. Always use potholders or a dry cloth to handle your hot stoneware. Do not immerse stoneware in water for a prolonged period of time. Never use chipped or damaged pieces of stoneware. Subtle color, texture and size variations may occur with each piece. Due to the manufacturing process of natural stoneware, each piece is unique and will have these slight differences in coloring and appearances.
