    Comments about Kalorik Food Slicer:

    It is not a Deli grade slicer nor is it advertised to be one. What this slicer is, is perfect for home use. I have used it three different time now since owning it for 2 weeks. Each time the slicer rose to the challenge and delivered the goods! Used it the first time to cut summer sausages for a graduation party tray...Walla...it cut in seconds what would have taken minutes by hand...each slice uniform, 1/16 thick, and professional looking.

    Recently used it to cut down some london broils into 1/8 thich strips to make Jerky. Took other peoples suggestions and put the meat in the freezer for about 20 minutes to get it firm....the slicer buzzed through it like butter! Sure makes cooking easier when the meat thickness is uniform.

    Cleanup a breeze...soapy wash cloth easily cleans down the motor/base unit assembly. Very few nooks and crannies to deal with. Blade removes very easily (remember it has a reverse threaded screw) for cleaning.

    Have already recommended both the slicer and Meijer's to friends :)

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
