would not buy again even at sale price

I bought this for my wife to clean the kitchen tile as opposed to a mop/bucket and was not really impressed... other than the steam factor which I hope is actually killing bacteria...Read complete review

I bought this for my wife to clean the kitchen tile as opposed to a mop/bucket and was not really impressed... other than the steam factor which I hope is actually killing bacteria, there are no benefits vs hand mop.
It is hard for her to hold the button down the whole time, it leaks like a horse and really is difficult to use.
the BIGGEST complain i have is the tank simply falls out if it is anything past upright.

the carpet "attachment" if you can call it that, does not attach at all! It is supposed to be put under the head and allows the head to slide over the carpet. if you pick it up, it stays on the floor and is pretty worthless...

the only reason i kept it is because were hoping that the steam is actually cleaning the floor.

          This unit cleaned well while operating but the temperature regulator must have failed after 10 minutes because the plastic components warped and steam travelled up the handle and started leaking at the hand control. Ouch!

          I had previously rated this a 3 after 2 weeks. Now that I have had it a month it is falling apart and is dangerous. The handle is falling apart and steam comes through the seam and can burn your hand. The steam also causes electrical problems, kept flipping the ground fault circuit interrupters.
          Dangerous product don't buy it.

          Worked great for first use but the hot steam warpped everything and fell apart when we went to use it a second time, Not a good product very disappointing, I do not recommend this product for anything but recycling.

            the product is suppose to steam, instead it is very very wet ! water comes out allowing one to mop, but doesnt dry as a steamer should. if you are looking for a floor wetting unit, this is your mop. doesnt compare at all with the shark, i returned all 3 i bought for gifts.
