- Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Animal Shortening (Contains One or More of the Following: Lard, Hydrogenated Lard, Partially Hydrogenated Lard), Yeast, Contains Less than 2% of Each of the Following: Whey, Salt, Dextrose, Leavening (Sodium Aluminum Phosphate, Baking Soda), Sorbitan Monostearate, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid.
- Makes one 12-14 inch crust. 1 pkg. Jiffy Pizza Crust Mix, 1/2 cup hot tap water. Prepare toppings before making crust. Preheat oven to 425°F. Add hot tap water to contents of package in bowl. Stir until moistened. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes in a warm place (about 85°F). Knead several times on a floured board. Grease 12 or 14 inch pan. Grease fingers and press dough on bottom and sides of pan. Dough may be shaped into a 14 x 10 inch rectangle on greased baking sheet. Pre-bake put crust in oven for 2-3 minutes before adding toppings. Top with your favorite toppings. Drain meat and other toppings before applying to crust. Bake 18-20 minutes or until crust is golden. Suggested Toppings: Add 1/2 tsp. oregano and 1/2 tsp. garlic powder to one 8 oz. can tomato sauce. Mix well. Spread on dough. Arrange 4 oz. sliced pepperoni or 1/2 lb. sausage or ground beef which has been browned with 1 cup onions. Mushrooms, green peppers, and olives may be added. Top with grated mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
