    I bought this to replace an older stand-alone CD player that was too big and was starting to have some issues. It sits in my toddler's room so she can listen to music as she is falling asleep and I only had three criteria: the ability to repeat the CD, a clock and no humming noise when plugged in and not playing. This CD clock radio does the trick. We haven't used any of the other features so far (she is her own alarm clock at this point) so I can attest to how it works in that regard but for what I need, it's perfect and compact. It doesn't produce a very "full" sound so if you are super particular about the quality of the sound, this might not be the radio for you but it doesn't bother me (or my daughter). We've had it now for probably two+ months and it plays all night long, every night and no issues so far.

        Nice styling, small design. Sounds terrible! Play CD's to wakeup & the sound is just awful. Radio is horrible sounding too. Reception is good with it. Sounds like my transister radio I had as a kid without the 60's style.

              Great upgrade to my wife's clumsy clock radio. Controls are much easier to figure out and she wanted a CD player. She got both and is very pleased with the product. I personally would have liked a little more bass response but she's happy and that's the important thing, right?

                I bought this to use in my bathroom. This way I could know the time while getting ready in the morning while listening to some tunes. The best part is that the numbers on the digital clock are large enough to see when you're still not quite awake in the morning!
