this works well however if you are a smoker and use it in the same room that you smoke most in you will have to clean it every week. I like the standard model it will go a month if not longer before needing cleaned.

Originally purchased the ca500 when it came out about 5 years ago. Love it ,took care of allergens and odors have pets and baby in house. Little to do about maintenance just wipe the "blades" when needed. Thoughit would be nice to have extra set of "blades" in the winter. Quiet running and low cost to operate. But now need to get a new one too bad nothing lasts forever.

Because it is so quiet you don't know it's even running except for the bright LED light. We were hoping for some white noise with this unit to help us sleep too, but there was none. We ended up covering the bright LED light with tape because it lit up the bedroom so much. Other than that no compalints and seem to be operating as described.

very compact and easy to use. No replacement fitlters to buy or mess with . Just wash it off.

Use in my large master bedroom for allergy control. Quiet and efficient.

A little larger than anticipated (my last one was smaller) but not so large as to be unworkable.

I use the same products in three of our offices to keep the fine dust level down, including anything that is airborne. I previously used this already at home, and I have great experience.

When I was diagnosed with asthma, I bought this awesome air purifier at a great price, that worked very well in a large basement with no windows. I've been using it for about 2 weeks. It is very dry in the winter months and found out that I could not run a humidifier while using this purifier, since water or a humid environment can ruin the purifier. I was very frustrated since this purifier is great, but cannot be used with a humidifier. My Dr. advised me that with asthma, a dry environment is not good, so I had to return it. I did not see this caveat in any reviews I read before buying it.

Sometimes friends come over that smoke, and with everyone in the kitchen it became uncomfortable for the non smokers after a while, this product solved the problem. When I cook with aeromatics, the next morning the house would still smell like dinner, but not anymore.. It's amazing how much fresher the house smells now. easy to clean, no extra filters to buy. we're going to get another one for the basement as well, It really was money well spent.[...]
