This is our second 16X32. First one lasted through 5 seasons. Our dog snuck into the pool from our elevated deck, and because we always remove the ladder as a safety precaution, Fancy could not figure out a way to climb out of the pool. She chewed through one of the corners of the pool in order to push her way out of the water, leaving that corner of the liner very damaged. Since the pump has now died, we figured we've enjoyed it 5 seasons, time for a new pool, and a stronger doggie door!

Love the pool but unfortunately it had a hole in it that luckily we were able to patch since it was on the underside side wall. We were wondering why we saw puddling by the pool on the first day of setup. By the afternoon we could hear the water shooting out from a tiny pinhole. Intex should have given under water glue but they did not. We went and bought an $8 underwater kit from [...] to patch the inside and outside. It was difficult but it's holding fine. Other than that, love the pool! Only have about a foot of room to spare on every side :)

I love this pool.It has brought my family together to enjoy the outdoors again.It was alot of work to put up but was well worth all the hard work we put into it.This is the best summer I have had in a long time since I bought this pool.It is pretty easy to take careof.Everything comes with it.Who could ask for more.If you were to put an in ground pool all the accssories would have to be purchased seperately.This is a better deal.

After we figured out how to insert top poles without binding (keep low to ground and near seam instead of top curve) the assembly was rapid, although because of its size it took about 3 hours total. A few days to fill it, and it was ready for swimming! We now use it daily and it's like a mini-vacation.

The pool was easy to put up, one the area for the pool was somewhat level and clear of trees or brush. The kids are loving it! The pool ladder says it will hold 300 lbs, but for grown men under 300 lbs it is still a bit shakey! Other than that, it's great!

This will be the 4th Intex pool we have purchased over the years, because each has been a great value and provided great fun for the whole family. We decided to stay at home this summer and use the funds planned for vacation to purchase this pool to replace the Ultra-Frame 16'x48". The ads are true in that the set up is easy and only takes an hour or so, depending on the number of people helping. Be prepared to work hard leveling the ground if you don't have a level yard. In the 32' needed, the elevation of my yard changed 5 inches. I would certainly recommend renting a Bobcat power shovel or finding a friend with proper equipment to move dirt. It also helps to put baby powder or sand on the pool support pieces as they are being inserted in to the sleeves. They slide much easier. I also recommend upgrading this package by purchasing the Intex Salt Water Chlorine Generator. We carried over the one bought with the previous pool. Other than an occasional vacuuming, the pool is virtually maintenance free. And the water is "Krystal Clear" as the Intex ads claim. Although Intex does not recommend it, I have left my pools up all year wih no adverse side effects. The pools have with stood the winters of Northern Kentucky. Very durable. With leveling the yard, putting the pool up, and filling the pool from a single garden hose, total time was approximately 55 hours (48 hours to fill). Started on Saturday and swimming on Monday.

This pool is well constructed and realistically capable of being broken down and re-set up each year. The pump is bigger than what you get with the smaller round metal-frame pools. But you probably still need an even larger sand filter to keep this giant pool clean.

If you are going to buy this product, plan on rubbing the poles down with sand or some other substance to make it slide through the liner. My wife and son worked with my for a long time to get the sides done before this idea dawned on me. The one side did not entirely straighten out after it was filled either. But over all, you get what you pay for.
