My son and his friends want me to buy this and set it up at my shop. While I do things in the shop or work in the garden, they have "Nerf Wars", throw baseball and football(games sometimes), ride 4 wheelers and go hiking. "I'm buying one before next summer". I've read the reviews and am currious about 1 thing. Is everyone in Mami named Tom? Can you explain why 7 out of 8 reviews were written by Tom from Miami? That will help me in choosing who I will buy my pool from. Thank You Mike

If you buy this pool you better plan on spending at least a week to level your ground correctly before you receive it.Don't wait until you get it to do this! The pool is easy to set up, but you spend more time leveling the ground. And I would advise to add more than one ground cover because of grass growing up through the liner. We used three because after we leveled the ground with packing down sand grass started growing through the sand. Don't forget to let the pool liner warm up before trying to set it up! Since it is 52" tall it goes up to my 8 yr. old grandson's neck.(perfect height for adults and teenagers) I do not like the ladder that goes with it, it seems too flemzy. They should consider that there's not only going to be young children playing in it! Using the salt in it seems to be cheaper than other chemicals. The only thing that worries me about the pool is, that it is a thick liner only with no metal walls and it holds 8500 gal. of water, so you are scared it will give way and collape and cause alot of problems if the water goes gusshing out everywhere. I never thought about this until it is sitting in my yard. As long as it holds up like it should I will enjoy using it all the time.

A great pool and loving every minute of it. Be aware the side rails bow in over 3 feet on this 12' x 24' pool during set up and fill process. Once the pool is filled with water all rails are straight and you have hours of fun ahead.

Our family and friends love this pool. The size is great for a large group. The only downfall is the kids don't want to get out!

Easy to install, just like they said. [...]. We love the pool! Have been using it for a couple of weeks now and our 9 year old is the happiest kid on the block. We took the time to lay down some sand for the base, and it was totally worth it, very comfortable for walking around and swimming in. Thanks Meijer!

This was the best buy we've ever made. The kids love it and use it every day. It was easy to set up and has brought our family closer together.

We upgraded to a higher amp pump, but it still doesn't work very well. Algae became a problem in the high temperatures, even using algaecide. We have had the pool for 4 summers and feel it is very durable, considering we have 2 teenage sons who use it with their friends. This pool MUST be on a flat surface. Our yard is a tiny bit sloped and that was a problem the first 3 summers. Finally, we got it right this year.

We had a Eldorado pool, 16 foot we purchased in 1999. This past winter the pressure of the snow collapsed the pool. Since my children are grown my husband didn't want to purchase a new pool since I was really the only one using it. Well,despite his disapproval I ordered an Intex 24 by 12 pool. At first he didn't want to put it up. He installed it with my neighbor Sunday and today, Thursday, he was actually in it with my neighbors also. We love it. So glad I took the plunge and ordered it without his approval....

This pool is a life saver since temperatures here have been in the 100's for days. My grandchildren enjoy it so much. A very good investment and we are extremely happy with it. It was easy to set up. The only thing I did not like was the cheap ladder so we opted to purchase a better one.
