This is the third year we've owned this (18'x52 intex ultra - saltwater). This is a perfect size - much more than a wading pool but less than a huge hassle. The saltwater is wonderful. No chemicals which burn. But it stays just as clean if you follow all the directions. It really is a two-person job to set up and take down (we live in New England so store it in the basement in the winter.) Takes 1/2 day, not too strenuous. Despite all the up and down and dragging - no rips, tears, blemishes. My family (two kids, 15 and 6) use the pool ALOT and are very happy with it. The only downside is the ladder. It was frail and rickety and really scared me. For the second year I replaced it with a *much* sturdier after-market (not Intex) ladder for about $200. Well worth it.

We've had our pool up for 5 weeks now. It was super easy to set up (we had 4 people helping and it took under an hour - minus the leveling). The cover is nice, though we also invested in a solar cover. This is our first pool, so we watched the DVD about 3 times to get a good understanding of the pump/salt water chlorinator. We bought a much sturdier ladder on clearance. The one is comes with held my 180 lb husband, but it very flimsy. We had 18 teens in it making a whirlpool, so it's certainly durable!

Took less than an hour to set up. Very easy. My kids love it. Ladder is a little unsteady, but that's the only con we have about it. LOVE the saltwater option. WORTH THE MONEY!

In it all the time, for relaxation and cooling off.
It was easy to put up, looks nice and working well.
Was a little worried when I first got the box, it was damaged some, but nothing was hurt inside the box.

We are enjoying our Intex pool. Easy set up only took about 2 hours to get up and running with all chems, etc added. It is easy to maintain, and comes with cleaning system and everything you need. I hope I win $1000!!!!

Set up was just as easy as they said. The hardest part was putting together the filter. Next year we will do a better job of getting it level, but for a first time set-up, I couldn't ask for anything easier. Enjoying time in the sun now!!

Read horrible reviews and was nervous - now think those were written by people who maybe didn't follow directions. This poolette is extremely easy use and maintenance, and we love it so far. Wonderful buy for the money; perfect way to have an affordable backyard retreat.

We've had this exact pool for 2 summers now and it has been awesome! The saltwater is so easy to maintain! The 18x52 I figured would be a little bit too high for my 7 year old daughter, but she has no problems. The pool easily fits 4-6 adults with room to swim around. We considered getting a 'real' pool, the metal sides and all that, but they were easily 5 times the cost of this... Best deal for the money if you ask me.

I only bought this because I didn't want a paper filter on the cheaper priced pools - those suck and don't keep the pool clean... The sand/salt filter works great, no hassle easy to setup and keeps the pool clean and clear.
