          PVC is hazardous from production to disposal and that's why it is called the poison plastic. There's no safe way to manufacture, use or dispose of PVC products.

          I bought this air mattress specifically because it did not include a pump. Pumps are nice, if you don't already have one. This was the only air mattress I could find that did not include a pump, which (because I already had one) I did not want to pay for.
          It's not a deluxe model. I could see it popping if you were horsing around on it or weren't careful with it while camping. If you use it occasionally and take care of it, it should do the trick. If you want a deluxe one with a pump, pay the $50. Otherwise, don't give a one star rating because you failed to fully read the description (and have no common sense).

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
