        At first when I had put the collar on my dog and installed the barrier, there was no response for couple of minutes and my dog started playing with the barrier machine, but within the next 2 minutes my Dog could recognize the barrier and has never entered my kitchen since. I have just used in 2 times in the past 3 weeks but i never felt the use of it later since labs are very smart and with proper training you know it will never enter the place where you do not want them to. A VERY HANDY DEVICE.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Used this to keep my Weimaraner's paws off the kitchen counters. This product was a joke, I lost a few good cooking utensils, a bag a bagels and dish rags. The product advertises working for all size dogs.. however, the collar is limited to one level of correction. If you have a big dog I would recommend a system that works with the stubborn dog collar made by the same company that has 5 levels of correction on the collar. [...]
