We use these Innotek Ultrasmart trainers for our hunting Beagles. These training collars are light weight and very durable for the field. The tone option is fantastic, we use them like a pager to call the dogs in when we're ready to leave the field. The variable shock level is a great feature as well and can be change instantly at the transmitter by pressing arrow up or down. My previous units from other manufactures had to be changed at the collar itself making it impossible to change to fit the situation. Some actions require a more stern correction while another might just require a slight reminder. At any rate, this has been the best unit I have used over my 25 years of training and I would recommend it anyone looking at remote training collars.

We have used this model for over 4 years, the first unity was accidentally damaged, knowing how much we loved it we purchased it a second time. I think that sums things up best.

I love this collar, I have used other innotek collars, and some other hunting collars, and this one is the best yet. And cheaper than the hunter training collars ive used.

I have used this collar for years on all types of dogs for general obedience. It is the most consistent collar I have ever used. The only negative thing I can say about it is thatI have never had one capable of working 300 yards. My experience is more like 50 yards at most.

worked very good with my 7 month old beagle.. no more jumping... chewing sox etc. very easy to use.. only one concern is that i wish the battery last longer

Maximus is a rescue dog - saved from the Town shelter and he was the toughest "rehabs" we had ever encountered (we have always gotten our dogs from the town shelter and are aware of the issues many of them have). He is a giant german shepherd (Shiloh Shepherd)and was weaned too early from his mother. As a result, his behavioural development was delayed. Picture an 81 pound 7 month old puppy acting like a 3 month old puppy - quite a handfull. we could not have succeeded w/o judicious use of the electronic collar. Now he is magnificent well-behaved GD, (as we always knew he could be). Thank you
