    Comments about Innotek Rechargeable In-Ground Pet Fence System SD-2100:

    Overall the product is good however there is a constant high pitch noise coming from the system. Luckily I decided to install it in the laundry room, so the noise is confined. The high pitch noise gets 10 times worse when you put the battery on the base to charge. It was extremely simple to install and after the initial charge, the collar battery has not needed a recharge (3 weeks so far, manual says it lasts 3 months).

    Pros:
    Good collar battery life
    Different level of shock settings
    Easy installation

    Cons:
    Warning tone on collar is too low
    Constant high pitch noise emitted by base unit
    Terrible high pitch noise emitted by unit when charging battery.

    Overall, I am satisfied. We used this on our 1.5yr old 70Lb Doberman, but with the shock levels I can see this being effective on 200+ Lb dogs too.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
