Our 2 yr old grandson took to this toy as soon as he opened it! All smiles and play- sorting the blocks and giving them to Grandma to sort--he even decided to "help Grandma"!

My son does play with this, but not with enthusiasm. It's a fun idea for a shape sorter, but I think the traditional ones work better at teaching them because instead of using the proper holes to insert the shapes, my son just sticks them back up the snout.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        These have been wonderful for my son. Not only are the colors bright and appealing, the textures are great. The fact that they are different shapes is nice as well. My son is captivated with these. They are soft so they are easy for little ones to hold. I love the fact that they have different noise makers in each as well. We have enjoyed them and will continue too.
