I'd look elsewhere

      The desk came wrapped up very tightly, and yet, somehow the drawer was severely cracked. [...]I can't exactly articulate what my husband said during the assembly process but it went something like this, "NOTHING LINES UP WITH THIS THING!" Also, one of the pieces was completely drilled the wrong way so you are able to see a beautiful red heart sticker where my daughter had to hide the hole. Overall, it was an inexpensive purchase and works for my 14 year old daughter but if you have a little extra cash, I would buy something else.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
