despite the VERY cheaply made parts that DON'T fit together properly (or some at all), the machine cleans well. Whatever engineering genius decided it would be a good idea to 1)insert the power cord below the hose to knock the hose off every few minutes and 2)make it a super-pain-in-the-rear to use the hose at all by having to remove EVERYTHING just to connect it should be shot. If I had to use this frequently I would have returned it.

My carpet gets very dirty since I have twin granddaughters (age 4) who are always spilling things. I usually use twice the amount of shampoo since it cleans better than just one cap. My Kirby just seems to grind the dirt in; this one sucks up most of the dirty water and I can tell it is really cleaning.
